and foster homes. If you are interested in fostering or
possibly adopting a rescue Leonberger, visit our Adoption or Foster Information pages. |

Kale'a needs your support
One of our amazing Leo rescues need help! Please visit her page to learn all about her and how YOU can make a difference! Click here to meet Kale'a.

Leonberger Rescue. Inc is a 501c3 non profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of unwanted, abandoned or abused Leonbergers.
If you own or know of a Leonberger that needs a new home
because it is no longer a welcome member of its home or
being held by a shelter, contact your Regional Representative.
If the dog is a Leonberger, we will take responsibility
for him and find a suitable home.

If you know, or even suspect, you have a Leonberger in your
care, please contact your Regional
Representative. Someone will come out to verify
that the dog is or is not a Leonberger. If it is, we will
adopt the dog from you.

Leonberger Rescue Inc. would like to acknowledge the following
rescue organizations for their support and assistance in
the creation of the program to assist Leonbergers in need:
Alaskan Malamute Protection League (AMPL), Golden Retriever
Rescue of Maine, Inc. (GRROM), Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue,
Inc., Akita Rescue Rescue Society of America (ARSA).
Beth Mershon gets special kudos for creating our logo, and the New England Border Collie Rescue (NEBCR).
Finally, a big Leo Lick to the Leonberger Club of America
for their continued support of our efforts.
